Opencockpits MCP - Inputs working, but Displays not syncing

Post by flxclj »

Hello everyone,

I recently started my home cockpit journey and I have zero experience with SIOC or hardware configuration, so please bear with me.
I am using an Opencockpits MCP with the PMDG 737 in MSFS via the OI4FS interface. I have managed to get the inputs working—when I rotate the physical knobs, the values change correctly inside the flight simulator.
The Problem:
The physical LED displays on the MCP do not update. They stay frozen on their startup values (e.g., Heading 600, Alt 25600) even though the aircraft in the sim is moving.

Device Mapping: MASTER=15,7,1,51 (Device is recognized as IDX 15 in SIOC).

SDK Active: I have added EnableDataBroadcast=1 to the PMDG 737_Options.ini file.

When I use the SIOC Monitor to manually send a value to a display (e.g., Course), the physical digits do change, but with strange values. However, as mentioned, the buttons/knobs work perfectly to control the plane.

Since I am a complete beginner, I am not sure if this is a script mapping issue, a power supply issue (running on 5V as instructed), or a configuration error in the .ssi file.
Plus the buttons ilumination strange as hell...

Any guidance on how to "bridge" the data from the sim back to the physical displays would be greatly appreciated.

Thx...

To me it looks like you have mixed the MCP and EFIS duirng the configuration phase in Oi4FS24.

You say you have : Device Mapping: MASTER=15,7,1,51 (Device is recognized as IDX 15 in SIOC).

That is not a valid configuration.

Go back and make a new configuration after deleting the one you have.
