PMDG 777: heading bug workaround fix when restore a saved flight

Post by riccardo74 »

Hi to all,
I noted that when restore a saved flight the aircraft has always the north point heading, here is my workaround specifically for with PMDG 777:

1) click on Free Flight --> choose departure airport for the route you are flying (not strictly mandatory) and load a free flight

2) once flight is loaded, open FlightSave24 and load the situation you saved before, when you click on the marker on FlightSave24 the heading is correct but just only before finishing to load flight, infact the heading will revert to north (this is the bug) when situation is completely loaded

3) now click Ready To Fly button on simulator and enter the situation, wait for all the PMDG 777 systems will restore even if the heading will be still wrong and aircraft is flying in completely the wrong direction

4) Only when all systems are loaded up: click on Re(Start) button inside FlightSave24 and the heading will be perfect and the aircraft will be perfectly on LNAV track!

Hope this fix can be useful to PMDG owners, ciao

Thanks, I've already have the 3.0

Have I missing something?

EDIT: downloaded BETA 3.0.1 and owrks fine with correct heading!!! thanks

one question: when I saved last time it was 16:30 about in the VC clock. Now reloaded the situation and it's 13:58. Is it a bug od MSFS2024?
