PMDG 737 for my Homecockpit

Hello,
i have done build my Homecockpit using the Prosim737 Software.
But since this Software is going to be worse and worse i think about switchng to another Solution for my Homecockpit and all The Hardware i am still using.
Here is a brief description of what i used to build for my Homecockpit.

There are 3 PC's involved, each PC have 3 Screens
One Main PC for MSFS2020 and the Views only, so no Hardware connected here.
One for the Capt PFD, ND, Upper EICAS, FO PFD and ND
One for the Capt FMC, Lower EICAS and FO FMC

I have build the FWD Overhead and the Gauges for this with Opencockpit Cards. No Modules from Opencockpits.
The Aft OVHD is from Sismo Solutiones
The MIP and Gauges are also from Opencockpits Cards
The both FMC are also own build with Opencockpits Keys Cards.
The MCP is also from Sismo Solutiones
The both EFIS are own Build with Pokeys Cards
The THQ are also own Build with Opencockpits Cards and the Pedestal are build with Arduino, which runs also via Opencockpits.

Is there a chance to get all this running with any other Software then Prosim737, maybe your Software ?
What about getting all the Displays, like OFD, ND, FMC, EICAS on the Screens of the Network PC's ?
Did anyone know a good solution maybe ?

Thanks a lot
Matthias

Hello Matthias,
I cannot answer all your questions but give you some ideas regarding the displays:
I have similar monitor configuration with 9 screens, but chose a different way with one PC and 2 graphics cards instead of a network solution. That is much more simple and I’m not sure if FS2020 or FS2024 supports PCs in network configuration.

On a mid-range I7-12700K PC I use 2 graphics cards with 4 monitor connection on each card plus 3 monitor connections on mainboard for the CPU GPU what gives me 11 monitor connections in total.

In windows display settings I arranged monitors in such a way, that the mouse pointer follows the logical path.
Monitors 1, 2 and 3 are for 3D environmental views including windshield to see the wipers in FS2020 and additionally see the good rain and window cleaning effects in FS2024
Monitors 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 are for MIP displays (2D)
Monitor 8 is for the PMDG tablet (2D)
You may want to put your second FMC on a monitor instead of the tablet -> no problem. I made tests with a 10th monitor -> no problem as well

My experience is to use 3 Windows in FS2020 /display settings / experimental only for 3D environment. A fourth window in FS (e.g. for displays) drops fps down from above 30 to below 20 even on a RTX 4080. So you need another solution for all the displays. I’m using freeware MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager, recommended by another user from this forum and I’m really happy with it. The 6 additional monitors only need to be arranged in Windows, no settings for them in MSFS. Easy to handle, simply pop out the displays and drag them to position you want. Change size acc. to your monitors and program will remember position and size so that configuration has to be done only once. But the main advantage is that MSFS POPM drops down frame rate by 1 or 2 fps only although I have 8 display popouts on 6 monitors. All the pop outs are 2D and require a cheap simple low end graphics card. Hopefully PMDG will come soon with possibility to pop out the standby instruments – then it is perfect.
