PROBLEM WITH ADJUSTING THE OVERHEAD SERVOS IN Oi4FS24

Hi
I have a problem with the servos on the overhead .Until now I was using the OCP4NGXv 5.5 and everything worked normally. Recently I switch to Oi4FS24 .The question is about the overhead servos ,where I use 2 servo cards[37/38],so in one I have APU,FT,VSI and in the other ENG1/2,PRESS L/R. Now in servo 1 I set the APU and everything is OK, but the FT and VSI do not respond at all. Correspondingly in servo 2 PRESS L/R is OK, but ANG 1/2 is not. Another question is about the software and especially for ENG1/2,in Oi4FS24. In OCP4NGXv5.5 I had a second leg , for example :
1] ENG1 servo 900
ENG1 servo Delay 350/200
2] ENG1 servo 350
ENG1 servo Delay 900/200.
Obviously I am missing something .... any help would be valuable.
[in SIOC monitor everything responds normally.
Thank you.

The easiest way ito use your older scripts( those that worked OK) with the Oi4fS24.

Hi
I followed your advice and everything works fine.Another problem is that the wipers keep the same speed in all positions .Is there a solution to this?
Thank you ,I Wishing you a Happy New Year.

Hi,
for correct wiper operation you would need a script modification that I can give you and that I have posted here previously.
But before script mod can work, you need to verify wiper switch wiring and possibly have to change them.
Please check if only one contact of each wiper rotary switch is wired to the input card or if 4 contacts are wired. You can do this by simply looking at the back side of the switches or by checking switch positions with SIOC Monitor (only one or 4 different numbers light up during rotation of each wiper knob)
When I remember correctly the factory built FWD OVH comes with one wiper contact wired only. In this case you have to modify accordingly. You would need 6 additional input connections (3 for each wiper). You can search for 6 free inputs, but as the two existing input cards are usually maxed out, you have 2 options:
a) Install a third mastercard with one new input card
b) disable existing functions, that you usually don’t use (e.g. switches of the NAVIGATION / DISPLAYS Panel on the middle of the left side of OVH) and connect wiper switches instead.
After you have changed wiper switch connection and can tell me 8 input numbers that are in use for your wipers I will help you with script modification.

Hi
Thank you very much for the response.The overheade ia my own construction.The wipers are norrmaly connected with 4 contacts per wiper.The numbers are : Left wiper..Park = 76 / int = 77 / Low = 78 / High = 79 Right wiper...Park = 72 / Int =73 / Low = 74 / High = 75 .
Thank you .

o.k.
that’ s simple. I think you are using script version 7.0
For left wiper replace existing left wiper section (Var 2715 and Var 0074) by lines as listed below:

- Wiper_L.jpg (148.97 KiB) Viewed 990 times
use your inputs 76 ... 79 instead of 32 ... 35 (my numbering)
and for right wiper replace existing right wiper section (Var 2716 and Var 0075) by lines as listed below:

- Wiper_R.jpg (151.02 KiB) Viewed 990 times
use your inputs 72 ... 75 instead of 27 ... 30 (my numbering)
save, compile and have fun.
This script modification works on the PMDG B737 in FS 2020 and FS 2024 as well without any further change

Happy New Year to you all.
@ XAID104:
My script mod works fine on my sim and I heard from another user who has used same modification that he is happy as well
Please don't get me wrong, but I can neither read minds, nor do I know what your script contains or whether you have followed all the steps correctly.
Therefore I have to ask these questions:
- have you saved the modified script?
- have you compiled and saved the ssi-file?
- what name has the new saved ssi-file (the old existing name or have you given a new name)?
- when you have given a new name, you have to do the aircraft configuration again in OI4FS24 and select the new ssi-file
When you have done all this correctly and wipers still don't work as they should, please post screen shot of one of your wiper script sections here. Right or left doesn't matter.
